Uncover Australia's industrial and social heritage in Macarthur

If you’re interested in uncovering Sydney’s heritage, head to Macarthur region, just south-west of Sydney.

The Campbelltown Heritage Walk is a self-guided walk that takes you on a tour of the colonial architecture in the city’s main streets, featuring fine examples of the Victorian, Georgian, Colonial and Gothic styles of architecture.

Campbelltown Steam and Machinery Museum is dedicated to the power of the steam engine. Featured in its collection is a unique assembly of vintage steam and internal combustion engines once used in agriculture and industry.

Campbelltown Arts Centre features a performance studio, workshop spaces, galleries and soothing Japanese Garden with a sculpture garden and cafe. At Struggletown you’ll find an inspiring collection of early Australian buildings housing six galleries.
